DevOps/SRE L2/L3 Role

As we expand our customer deployments, we are currently seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. Specifically, we are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences at every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Build a DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE Center of Excellence to coordinate and drive initiatives to architect and implement high availability, reliability, and security of the services across multiple Engineering teams.
• Ensure the highest level of uptime and Quality of Service (QoS) to our customers through operational excellence
• Partner with cross-functional organizations on architectural decisions and implement DevOps tools that drive engineering productivity
• Identify and implement automation best practices to improve end to end observability and resiliency
• Lead sustainable incident response, change and release management, blameless post mortems, and chaos engineering to prevent problem recurrence and achieve 99.99% uptime
• Automate anything and everything, including yourself
• Manage projects, priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Engineering or a related technical field with strong Computer Science knowledge 
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering, DevOps, and SRE experience in a large distributed environment with focus on automation 
• Proficiency with Linux system operation, configuration, troubleshooting and automation
• Strong expertise in Networking (TCP/IP, VPC, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SMTP)
• Experience working with managing and support on-prem and public cloud infrastructure
• Experience with administration of DevOps Tools like JIRA, Git/SCM, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube. Adept in provisioning with Infrastructure as a Code and Configuration Management tools like Ansible/Puppet, Terraform and scripting skills with BASH, Python
• Experience with CI/CD automation and promotion across different deployment environments 
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting server hardware, software, and application issues 
• Excellent experience with Virtualization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, and attention to detail 
• Excellent leadership, go-getter attitude, collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills
